When you do a lot of surfing on the internet for information,your computer will be exposed to a lot of viruses,adware and spyware.When I first went online my computer was infected with over a hundred types of spyware because I did not install any antispyware programme.My Bit Defender V10 do not work in real time and hence a lot of virus and Trojan horses entered my computer.I had it reformatted, installed AVG 7.5 free antivirus which works in real time and will remove viruses when they try to enter your system. I have Spyware Terminator 2.0.0 installed and this programme is one of the very best and it is free.Look for it on the internet. It has Host Intrusion Prevention System which prevents outside malicious programmes from making changes to your computer's main file system. Mind you my Windows XP Professional SP1 does not come with a firewall.So you can see how important having a good antispyware programme can do for it.My first computer operating system had half of its TCP channel taken up by spyware programmes. So beware and quickly secure your computer system before you are infected.
